We are a community of diverse nurses (RN, RON, NP, LPN, Nursing Aides) educated outside Canada. We are often referred to as the Internationally Educated Nurses.
We also have Canadian Educated Nurses of Filipino Ancestry, Together we are aiming to enhance the profile of our existence as it relates to our assimilation to Canadian Nursing and our overall contribution to the health of Canadians.

International Nursing Week is an annual celebration that the Alberta Association of Nurses (AAN) is excited to be a part of. With 10,000 members and counting, we have a lot to celebrate!
This year, the theme for Nurses Week is Our Nurses, Our Future. The Canadian Nurses Association shares, “This theme showcases the many roles that nurses play in a patient’s health-care journey.
